Sometime around the 80s’, a very pretty princess was born. ME!! Of course. Also around that time, the 80s’ was referred to as the era of fashion crime scene. It was filled with people wearing outfits with so many colours at the same time, confusing hairstyles, yuckish jelly shoes, warmers and so many hideous things. Thank God I was little, I’m very sure I would have fainted like a zillion times. Thanks to designers like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs and so many others, fortunately for me and unfortunately for some people, 1980s’ clothing styles seem to crawl on our shelves now. FASHION ACCESSORIES
Some of the most popular 1980s' fashion accessories that I love are the big hoop earrings, hair bows, headbands, bandannas, friendship pins, charm bracelets , pearl necklaces and they are back…. After the release of her single “Like a virgin” in late 1984 Madonna, she became a fashion icon for many young woman around the world. Love the creativity of the 80s bracelet below;

CLOTHING
When it comes to 80s fashion, off-shoulder shirts and crop tops were best suited for teenage girls and young women. Nowadays, many girls wear crop tops as a style that looks cool. Other clothes worn now are tight fitting full length or ¾ stonewashed jeans, super-tight mini skirts, long pleated skirts and dresses with long slits in front or at the sides etc. My favourite is leggings and it looks like it has come to stay forever.

FOOTWEAR
In footwear, women in the 80s wore high-heeled stilettos and jelly shoes. The shoes are widely invoke especially the jelly shoes. They have been reinvented to look very hot and stylish. My advice; get 1 now, because the raining season draweth closer!!!

BAGS
Clutch handbags in many colours were the IN-tin in the 80s. The bags with styles were the quilted Chanel bags with its golden chain or Louis Vuitton luggage. Today we see a lot of girls still carrying the Chanel clutches; there are a lot of fakes by the way.
